Walt Disney World Crowd Calendar [Updated: 2020 & 2021] Best Times To Go
2021 is the 50th Anniversary for Walt Disney World
We expect 2021 to be an amazing time to plan a Disney World Vacation. Disney World opened on October 1, 1971 and this 50th anniversary at Walt Disney World has so much in store for you. As more details about the Walt Disney World 50th come out we will be sure to update you here.
January at Disney World brings in the start of a new year and one of the most amazing firework shows I have ever seen. I do love watching New Years ring in at Walt Disney World, but my tip to you is to book a night, or an entire vacation at one of the Disney World monorail resorts. Then after an amazing dinner, walk out to the beach area, or to the viewing area at the Contemporary if that’s the resort you book, and watch New Years ring in from there. You will avoid the Disney New Years crowds and it’s the perfect way to start the year.
Also January crowds at Disney World are pretty light for most of the year. It can be cold in Orlando Florida in January, especially at night, so pack some jackets, hats and maybe some gloves to be safe. But also bring your swim suite. I have been swimming in 82 degrees in December and January sometimes at Disney World.
